Craig A. Jeffery, AAP, CCM, FLMI
Managing Director
Craig Jeffery formed Strategic Treasurer LLC in 2004 to provide corporate, educational and government entities direct access to comprehensive and current assistance with their treasury and financial process needs.  His two decades of financial and treasury experience as a practitioner and as a consultant with various financial institutions help organizations craft realistic goals and achieve significant benefits quickly. 

Mr. Jeffery was previously a Senior Vice President and Practice Leader for Wachovia Treasury & Financial Consulting.  His experience in finance, treasury, consulting and information technology advisory experience encompass numerous industry segments. 

 He is often quoted in finance and treasury management publications, and is regularly requested to present both in the U.S. and Internationally.  His most recent column on  Treasury appear in the March 2007 issue of Treasury & Risk. Others include January/February, March and October 2005 issues of Financial Executives magazine.  Craig  graduated from the University of Connecticut, B.S. Accounting.  He is a permanent  Certified Cash Manager, an Accredited ACH Professional and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute with distinction.

 

David Stowe, CFA
Risk Management
Mr. Stowe works with clients on risk management issues related to hedging and FAS133 compliance.  He has experience with a wide array of treasury initiatives from implementing, forecasting, systems and processes used by our clients in North American and international cash management structures.

David has worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta as a financial analyst with a focus on macroeconomics and financial research.  He has co-published articles on financial topics in the bank’s national publication. He worked with Merrill Lynch Institutional Sales as a quantitative analyst, acting as a liaison between research, trading and sales. He was the Treasury Manager for both domestic and international activity at the Atlanta based company Home Depot. As the Director and Assistant Treasurer of Cash Management at Delta he was responsible for financial risk management. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Silverbacks an Atlanta professional soccer team. 

David’s undergraduate degree was received at Emory University in and his graduate degree in Finance at Georgia State University. David is a Chartered Financial Analyst and he is seen in publications and at various professional organizations on the speaking circuit.

 

Latrice Murphy
Project Management
Ms. Murphy has over 15 years of marketing, administrative, and organizational experience that encompass numerous industry segments including finance. She has a strong background in project management. She has provided support for many treasury projects such as: assessments, automation, working capital, and organizational restructuring activities.

Ms. Murphy was previously a Senior Project Specialist of Wachovia Treasury & Financial Consulting.  In that role, Ms. Murphy primarily worked with database analysis and modeling, and project analysis and management.  Ms. Murphy provided analytical and project management for multiple consulting projects.  

Ms. Murphy earned her B.S. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.

 

Richard Thompson
Analysis
Mr. Thompson has helped many clients with treasury technology selection and implementation efforts – ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.  His analytical rigor has been highly valued on various process reengineering efforts and working capital optimization projects.

Ric joined Strategic Treasurer in 2005 after finishing a two year tour of active duty with the United States Marine Reserves where he served as the Operations Officer and Executive Officer of an Infantry Battalion in Iraq and later as the Operations Officer for the Marine Air Group providing emergency relief to the gulf coast area after hurricanes Katrina and Rita.  

Prior to being activated with the Marines, Ric worked in Network Analysis at Delta Air Lines where he performed domestic and international revenue forecasting as well as competitive financial analysis and modeling.  In addition, he has experience in operations and manufacturing with Newell Rubbermaid where he landed after eight years of active duty with the Marines as a Helicopter Pilot.

Ric has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
